Pediatric vs. General/Family Dentist

Hello everyone... my daughter is 17 months old with sixteen teeth and I feel it's time to take her to see the dentist.

I was wondering how many of you have your toddler (or young child) see a pediatric dentist versus a regular dentist/family dentist. I'm just wondering what your choice was and why.
